Airinet started out as a small company in 2006, and began developing a solution for the growing needs of wifi users. As technology developed, Wireless internet is the latest-and-greatest, and the easiest of all internet solutions. Wireless systems were not quite up to par for supplying city-wide areas with broadband internet service. Wi-MAX was incomplete, and Airinet saw things through a different view.
Using WiFi, mesh networking, and state-of-the-art antennas and radios, Airinet launched what seemed to be impossible. Starting in the smaller, humble city of Pueblo, Airinet began saturating the area with service. With this much attention, Airinet became the provider of internet service for many customers, including business owners, office users, and home users. With low costs, no contract rates, it seemed much more attractive than our franchise-sized competitors who tied you down to one service.
The Colorado State Fair is now supported heavily by Airinet's Backbone, and is available all year round on it's grounds! Our local weather station, KOAA uses Airinet to support their website for customers to access vital weather updates and local news. Pueblo's local company, the Board of Water Works, also uses backbone services for their computer equipment! As of recent developments, Airinet has just released an innovative Streelight Control Module. This new product is being tested with Black Hills Energy of Colorado, and being used to test the latest installment of LED Streetlamps, and looks to promise even more energy-efficient light system in the city of Pueblo.
